PM Reader Challenge – Wild and Wooly

For this task you need to do some reading out loud.

  1. You will record a video of yourself reading the first page of your PM Reader.
  2. At the SAME TIME you will use the Voice Typing feature on this Google Doc.

This will give you an opportunity to hear how you read, and to see how accurate your pronunciation is.

Start your Voice Typing here:Mum I got urgently from the back door. Marco will be here in 10 minutes. “coming Jessie”mum replied. She made her way back  from the horse paddock past the long grass and weeds that we laughingly referred to as the black button. It didn’t matter how often we mowed the yard, the grass always grows back looking more vigorous and glad to be alive than ever. My heart was fluttering in my chest like frightened rabbits. Marco was my 14 year old cousin and for some reason he had decided to spend his school holidays with us. I hadn’t seen Marco for years he looked. he lived in an apartment in the city with a cinema complex a game’s a kid and a world’s famous museum mom and I lived on a hobby farm and an isolated Valley far from town full stop our closest neighbour calling was a retired she found a full stop his land now lay empty with fences falling down for stop all stop. I used to help Colin at sharing time sweeping the flows and bringing and branding will bales but now his old shade was home to it during family of the Spirits. I checked my watch and five minutes Marko would delete off walk through and expect to be entertained that would be my job I wasn’t feeling confident so I made sure the Wi-Fi was on in case Marco wanted to connect to social media straight away. as mommates next in the kitchen! er quote from the front door he had a core city and was wearing trendy jeans a rushed it to me him I said wrote my city a city and through my choppy here and smiled with Lee he’s. he slashed inside of his backpack and looked around with anticipation once we had a cool drink and a tour of the house mom disappeared out the back leaving us on our. Marcus stood on the middle of their living room a far away look in his Gray eyes it’s so quiet here he said with the long side.

Drone term 4 – extension

This term extension has been focusing on drones, we had to make a 3D model on “tinkercad” and make it into a simulation from scratch. This is my project from scratch and I have been working on it for a few weeks even though it does not look like much it took me a lot of time to make, i hope u enjoy watching this (very high quality)

Term 4 design – outdoor area

This is my scratch project for this term. Team 4 have been thinking of different ways to improve our team 4 outdoor area and what we think we need for students from team 4 to be satisfied with our area. We created different prototypes on “Tinkercad” to show what it looks like in 3D, we then drew it on scratch to show it on 2D and explaining how it works

Drones and how they help – extension

In extension we have been thinking of “what different ways can we use drones?”,  Everyone in extension made slides talking about what we thought they could do. The first page had a problem and the next page had a idea on how they could help with that problem. These are my slides that explains what drones can do and something else I want drones to do, I picked for the drone to stop people from stealing from shops! we all had to make a drone on “Tinkercad” and we added what would be needed for our drones to work, and once those were finished we had to go on “Scratch” to show what it looks like in use!

200 word challenge – climber and photographer

This is my writing task, it was supposed to be a 200 word challenge but I ended up getting it to a 300 word challenge.

200 Word Challenge – Descriptive Language

Who is in the photo? A boy and a girl wearing a bright red jumper
What is happening in the photo? The girl is taking a photo of the boy while he’s climbing the mountain
Where was the photo taken? On a mountain
What makes this exciting? That the boy is climbing the mountain without any ropes while the girl is also climbing but looking back with the camera pointed towards the boy
How do you think the characters feel? Climber:  confident Photographer:  focused

Write a 200 Word recount as either the CLIMBER or the PHOTOGRAPHER.

Remember; your challenge is to use DESCRIPTIVE Language to SHOW, not TELL your audience what is happening.

Begin your writing here: For a long time me and my brother had been planning on going to the mountains we lived by. We had organised to go tomorrow since we didn’t have anything planned. That night I found it really hard to go to sleep because of how excited I was. I was thinking about how fun it’s going to be and I was also thinking about all the things I’d have to pack for our trip.

Eventually I fell asleep, but I woke up at 6 AM so I had only gotten between 3-4 hours of sleep that night. I rolled out of bed but then the thought of climbing the mountain rushed into my head and I quickly stood up and started getting ready. I was more energetic now and I was rushing myself while also multitasking.

A few minutes later I sprinted out of my room and I was ready to go, I walked out of the house and outside to the car and waited for my brother to get ready.

A few hours later we found ourselves standing in front of the mountain and it was HUGE!! We then walked up the mountain but it was really hard because our bags were so heavy, but we kept on climbing. It took an hour and a few minutes to get to our destination but we made it and the view was amazing. I then got my ropes ready and my camera set up, but before we started to climb we had a quick drink break so we were ready and we had a good rest.

Later on, my brother started to climb to the side and up. While he was getting in place I secured my rope to a pole and made sure it was safe to go down, so I jumped down (carefully) with my camera in my hand. My brother was ready and I was as well, I then pointed the camera at him and he started to climb.

A few hours later we were climbing back up, we had finished with the photos and we were walking down the mountain, back to the car. When we got home we ran excitedly inside and we looked through the photos and they were so cool! We were both impressed with our work but our legs hurt from walking so much and climbing a lot, we had a lot of rest and that day will probably be in my mind for the rest of my life.
