Be a leader, not a follower.

Hi everyone, my name is Falen and in extension we had to create short animations about the whakatauki we chose. I chose “be a leader, not a follower”. Be a leader, not a follower encourages you to be an active participant in your own life and in the world around you. It’s about cultivating your own inner compass and having the courage to follow it, even if it leads you down a different path.

This week for our extension project we learnt about Venus and Mercury! I researched and read about some interesting facts with my 2 friends Maraea and Kyaosi, and this is the video we made with some of our facts we learnt! (I wasn’t there on the day of the recording but I still helped with the script) I hope you enjoy this amazing high-quality video and maybe learn some new things you didn’t know before

Kia ora, today in extension we had to copy this slide and answer all the questions put. I worked on this with my 2 friends Maraea and Kyaosi. we will be visiting KPMG in 2 weeks time again! yippy

For extension we had to make a slideshow for our whakatauki we chose. mine was “Be a leader, not a follower.” we also had to use the app “Adobe express” to create images related to our whakatauki

we had to read a text named “Butterflies” and answer he question in these slides.

This  is my poster of the poetry book “The new kid on the block” by James Stevenson. We had to pick a genre of a book for literacy then pick an activity to do for that book.

This is one of my literacy activities fort his week, I had to pick a genre of a type of book (I chose comic) then I picked an activity to do and I chose to make a a fake tiktok account for one of the characters in the book.

This is my job for this week. I made the poster from a book that I chose from the library and after we read it we had to choose 2 different activities and this is my first one of the book that I chose from the library, Cinderella takes the stage.
